  • EAS Support Unit Description: This university business unit is responsible for assisting Rutgers administrative business areas in automating business processes and providing solution design, development, implementation, system maintenance, and production support for the following areas:
    • Oracle Financial Cloud– Provide day-to-day production support and enhancements for the following modules: General Ledger, Expense Reimbursement, Accounts Payable and Projects. Modify and create roles, modify schedules and monitor batch jobs, maintain and develop integration with departmental systems and third party applications. Manage Service Requests with Oracle; review and test patches and upgrades. Provide ad hoc reports and data analysis to support the business areas with more complex data inquiries, e.g. OPRA. Provide third level Help Desk support to business areas and individuals to resolve escalated issues.
    • SciQuest – Provide production support for integration with the SciQuest application.
    • Peoplesoft-HCM (PSFT) – Provide day-to-day production support and enhancements for the following modules and key functionality: Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Payroll for North America, Time and Labor, Commitment Accounting, Self Service Employee, Self Service Manager, integration with the Cloud, fiscal and calendar year-end processing, and absence reporting. Build and maintain permission lists and roles, monitor scheduled jobs, maintain and develop integration with departmental systems and third party applications. Support Human Resources and Payroll in troubleshooting issues. Coordinate tax updates, analyze impacts and retro fit code as necessary. Provide ad hoc reports and data analysis to support the business areas with more complex data inquiries, e.g. OPRA.   Provide third level Help Desk support to business areas and individuals to resolve escalated issues.
    • Data Warehouse and Reporting: Plan, design, develop and maintain support of Financial and HR data warehouses; support data requirements and provisioning for integration partners and reporting. Provide third level Help Desk support to business areas and individuals to resolve escalated issues.
    • Onboarding/Access Provisioning:  Support the automated process for provisioning and de-provisioning access roles in HR/Payroll; support the integration with Identity Management.
